Officially A Full-Time Virtual Assistant!

Today, May 12th, 2025 I became a full-time virtual assistant and business owner, chasing a life of balance, freedom, and excitement! Freeing myself from the mundane, repetitive days I had set for myself in pursuit of comfort and only finding stress and the never ending pursuit of more and better.

I have no idea where this road is going to take me, but I know that getting myself out of my comfort zone is only going to lead to more growth and adventure that I otherwise would have forever deprived myself of. In today’s world, we are told that to be happy we have to be financially stable and the path to financial stability is through a 9-5 job. But as the world continues to evolve and priorities shift, I continuously found myself more and more unhappy at the prospect of being chained to a desk for the next 40 years, hoping to maybe get 10-15 years of happy retirement, if I was able to save for it, which was becoming increasingly harder in this economy. After a close family member fell ill with cancer in his late 50’s, it really shifted my perspective on life and what I truly want out of it, and after a few years of promising myself that I would never wonder “what if?” I was still stuck in the hamster wheel of life trying to “play the game” and get ahead, to no avail.

Now I confidently yet nervously jump into the world of freelancing, where a stable income is not guaranteed and my work fluctuates every day, in pursuit of freedom, peace, and a different version of financial stability, all from the comfort of wherever I decide to call home that day. Life is too short to wonder what could have been, and you truly never know when you are going to be called to your maker. So today, as officially a full-time freelance virtual assistant, I encourage you to responsibly chase your dreams, give yourself an on-ramp to prepare and adjust, save a couple coins, and work your behind off to make your dreams come true. My work is only beginning on that today, but I am jumping in with both feet to make it happen, because I am worth it, and I choose me.
